§ 3-21. Processing and administration.
(a)
The board of county commissioners shall designate the appropriate official to determine whether the proposed location fully complies with the county zoning regulations and the distance requirements of this article.
(b)
Any new license application shall be rejected unless the location is in a commercial zoning district of the appropriate class.
(c)
In the event that additional investigation is required to answer unresolved questions, on the fifth working day after an application has been accepted, written notice of the necessary delay shall be mailed to the applicant with a copy to the Lakeland Office of the Division of Beverage.
(d)
A notice of rejection of an application shall be in writing and mailed to the applicant and to the Lakeland Office of the Division of Beverage.
