§ 8-87. Recirculation system.

  • (a)

    The recirculation system of a pool shall be operated on a continuous twenty-four (24) hour basis. Should this system fail or should it be taken out of operation for any reason, the pool shall be posted and closed to swimming, until the system is restored to proper operation and has been operated for a period sufficient to accomplish one complete turnover of pool water.

    (b)

    All pools which serve a transient population such as those found at hotels, motels, campgrounds, travel trailer parks or other such establishments where a high percentage of use can be expected shall have a recirculation system capable of turning the entire volume of the pool over in no greater than four (4) hours.
