§ 8-88. Actions to be taken upon failure of certain equipment.

(a)

The owner or operator or his representative shall immediately notify the engineering section of the county health department of any equipment failure that affects the quality of the water in his pool or poses a hazard to the users of the pool.

(b)

Such pools shall be immediately closed and posted to prohibit their use. Any pool that has been posted by the owner, operator or their representative due to unsatisfactory water quality or a safety hazard shall remain closed until authorized by the county health department to reopen.
