§ 8-22. Effect of signing a construction permit application.

The signing of the application for approval to construct a public water supply system by the person responsible for operation and maintenance of that system constitutes consent of that party to assume responsibility to continuously operate and maintain said system until such time as approval has been given by the county health department to abandon the system or until such time as a written statement transferring these responsibilities to another party, and properly signed by both parties concerned is received and approved by the county health department.
