§ 2-248. The role of the county attorney during the state of local emergency.

  • During the state of local emergency, the county attorney shall assist the county manager in complying with the requirements set forth in section 2-247 above. Further, the county attorney may, on an as-needed basis, impart legal advice to the county's several municipalities and constitutional officers. Nothing within this section shall be construed to limit the usual powers and duties of the county attorney as conferred on him by the board and under Polk County's Charter.
