§ 2-41. Fees for copies of public records.

(a)

The following schedule of fees is hereby established for copies of public records in the custody of the board of county commissioners, the property appraiser, the tax collector, the supervisor of elections, or the sheriff of Polk County:

Xerox copies of documents, each page ..... $ 0.25

Microfiche reader/printer copies, each page ..... 0.50

County road map (preprinted), each map ..... 1.00

Blueprint copies of maps or aerials, each sheet ..... 2.00

Blueprint copies of property appraiser parcel sheets, each sheet ..... 1.00

Reproduction of a computer terminal screen to paper, each page ..... 0.25

Computer printouts to paper, magnetic tape or diskette, per one thousand (1,000) lines of print ..... 1.17

Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) minimum plus current cost of form(s) based on state contract cost or current market price, whichever is lower.

Computer tape to tape copy:

Small (600 ft.) reel, each reel ..... 15.00

Large (2400 ft.) reel, each reel ..... 25.00

(b)

The board of county commissioners is authorized to establish, by resolution, fees for copies of specific documents, provided, however, that such fees shall not exceed the total cost of a copy of such document computed pursuant to subsection (a) hereof.
