§ 2-16. Power of board of county commissioners generally; election to be governed by its policies.

In order to facilitate standardizing and equalizing employee policies and the terms of employment of employees of the board of county commissioners and other county officers, the board of county commissioners is hereby authorized to adopt resolutions establishing or amending policies relating to its employees. Upon the filing of such resolution or resolutions with the clerk of said board, any county officer may file a certificate with said clerk adopting any or all of said employee policies. Said policies shall apply to the employees of said board upon adoption and to employees of the other county officers upon the filing of said certificates.
