§ 8-156. Obstruction of officers.

Whoever opposes, obstructs or resists a code officer or any person authorized by the code officer or Division in the discharge of their duties as provided in this article is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisonment of not more than sixty (60) days in jail or by both such fine and imprisonment.
