§ 8-34. Chlorine disinfection required.

All public water supplies shall be equipped with the necessary apparatus and shall apply continuously to the water chlorine in sufficient quantities to maintain a minimum free chlorine residual of 0.5 milligram per liter in all parts of the system. Systems serving one hundred (100) residential connections or greater shall be equipped with gas chlorination units.
