§ 8.7-25. Administrative costs.

The county may retain a portion of the impact fees collected pursuant to this chapter not to exceed its administrative costs, to defray the county's costs of collection and administration relating to the impact fees. Any city collecting impact fees on behalf of the county pursuant to an interlocal agreement may retain an amount of the impact fees collected within such city in the amount of the administrative costs established pursuant to this chapter or as established pursuant to the interlocal agreement, in any event, the administrative fee shall not exceed the actual costs of collection and administration of the impact fees imposed pursuant to the chapter.
