§ 7-48. Appeals of fire prevention bureau decisions.

  • Any decision made by the Fire Prevention Bureau may be appealed by requesting within thirty (30) days of the fire prevention bureau issuing a decision a hearing with a special magistrate created pursuant to Polk County Ordinance 06-051. If such date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or county holiday, then the individual shall have until the end of the next day which is neither a Saturday, Sunday, or county holiday to request a hearing. Such request shall be made in writing to the secretary of the Polk County special magistrate.
