§ 3-3. Same—Bottle clubs.

  • (a)

    For the purposes of this section, a "bottle club" is defined as a business establishment providing facilities for the consumption of alcoholic beverages by its patrons on the premises, but not licensed to sell alcoholic beverages, without regard to whether the patrons are required to be members of the bottle club.

    (b)

    Bottle clubs, as defined in subsection (a), shall be open for operation or have patrons on the premises during the following hours:

    Monday—7:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Tuesday next

    Tuesday—7:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Wednesday next

    Wednesday—7:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Thursday next

    Thursday—7:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Friday next

    Friday—7:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Saturday next

    Saturday—7:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Sunday next

    Sunday—12:00 noon until 12:00 midnight Sunday

    No person shall operate a bottle club or allow patrons on the premises during any hours except those established herein.

    (c)

    Any violation of subsection (b) shall constitute a violation of county ordinance and shall be punishable as provided by law.

    (d)

    This section shall not be construed to authorize the operation of a bottle club or the consumption of any alcoholic beverage on any premises where the operation or consumption is otherwise prohibited by county zoning ordinance or regulation.
