§ 2-24. Board of county commissioners salary.

(a)

The current salary of the commissioners elected on or after November 7, 2000, shall be increased by two and one-tenth (2.1) per cent which is the lesser of the average percentage increase in the salaries of county employees for the fiscal year just concluded (3.0 per cent) and the percentage change in the U.S. consumer price index for the previous year (2.1 per cent) as required by section 2.5 of the Polk County Charter.

(b)

This salary increase shall be effective on the first day of January 2019.
