§ 2-23. Surety bonds; requirement, amount.

The following county offices shall maintain during the terms or duration of the office surety bonds conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of their office in the amounts shown:
(1)

Clerk of the circuit and county court ..... $100,000.00

(2)

Tax collector ..... 100,000.00

(3)

Sheriff ..... 25,000.00

(4)

Deputy sheriffs ..... 1,000.00

(5)

County commissioners ..... 2,000.00

(6)

Property appraiser ..... 10,000.00

(7)

Supervisor of elections ..... 5,000.00
