§ 11.5-61. Violations and penalties.

(a)

The codes enforcement division shall have the authority and duty to investigate reported violations of this article and to proceed against violators of this article as specified in Polk County Ordinance No. 85-6, as amended.

(b)

The owner and occupant of any building in the unincorporated areas of Polk County which is not in compliance with the provisions of this article shall be subject to prosecution before the Polk County Code Enforcement Board and shall be subject to administrative fines and liens as set forth in Polk County Ordinance No. 85-6, as amended.
