§ 11.5-33. Boats.

  • Boats to be hauled on truck-trailers shall comply with the following:

    (a)

    Height: Fourteen (14) feet maximum. Hauling permitted daylight hours only, all days.

    (b)

    Length:

    Fifty-five (55) feet maximum:

    (1)

    Hauling permitted daylight hours only, all days.

    (2)

    Blanket permits permissible.

    Fifty-five (55) feet to seventy-five (75) feet maximum:

    (1)

    Movement permitted daylight hours only, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

    (2)

    Blanket permits permissible.

    (c)

    Width:

    Ten (10) feet maximum:

    (1)

    Movement permitted daylight hours only, all days.

    (2)

    Blanket permits permissible.

    Twelve (12) feet maximum:

    (1)

    Movement permitted daylight hours only, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

    (2)

    Blanket permits permissible.

    (d)

    General note:

    (1)

    For moves requiring greater dimensions than above trip basis permits may be issued dependent upon the circumstances.

    (2)

    The permit issued is intended to cover the requirements of a single item only. Multiple loading will not be permitted to develop the dimensions shown on permit.

    Note: This item may be included in the general coverage of construction, and industrial equipment permits as issued.
