§ 10-80. Acceptance of reclaimed land.

Acceptance of reclaimed limerock-mined areas by the board of county commissioners shall be obtained by application of the operator identifying the lands and requesting acceptance within the requirements of this article. Within thirty (30) days thereafter, the board either shall give a written acknowledgement of reclamation compliance or advise the operator in writing why the area fails to meet the reclamation requirements. Approval of total completion of reclamation requirements for a given limerock mining permit shall be issued by the board of county commissioners when the required acreage has been accepted by the board.
