§ 10.8-73. Application.
(a)
A citizen-initiated request for establishing or modifying a street lighting assessment area or the number of street lights provided therein shall require completion of an application and payment of a non-refundable application fee to initiate the creation or modification process. The application fee shall be set by board resolution.
(b)
The application documentation shall be on a form approved by the division and shall include identification of a contact person. An application may be submitted by homeowner associations, management companies, or developers when the proposed street lighting assessment area is within a recorded platted subdivision or an interested owner when the property is not included within the boundaries of a recorded platted subdivision or a homeowner association does not exist for a recorded platted subdivision.
