§ 10.8-67. Repeal of existing street lighting districts.

(a)

(b)

The existing street lighting districts that were created and amended in accordance with the ordinances repealed in paragraph (a) above have been transferred and recreated as street lighting assessment areas by County Resolution No. 18-103 which is hereby simultaneously adopted with adoption of the ordinance from which this article derives and effective upon effective date of the ordinance (Sept. 28, 2018).

(c)

All proceeds collected by the county within the existing street lighting districts pursuant to the repealed provisions above that are unspent as of the effective date of this article shall be expended by the county in accordance with the provisions of said repealed ordinances to ensure the uninterrupted provision of street lighting services in the existing street lighting districts.
