§ 10.5-170. Legal duty of parent.

The parent of a minor has a legal duty and responsibility to ensure that the minor does not violate this article. A parent who knowingly permits a minor in the parent's control to violate this article or a parent who should have known that a minor in the parent's control is violating this article may be subject to a penalty listed in section 10.5-172, below.
