§ 10.4-22. Proof of permission to harvest required.

  • Any person engaged in the harvesting of timber or other natural resources from a lot or lots, whether contiguous or not, within a land sale subdivision, shall:

    (a)

    Possess on site at all times proof of ownership or written permission of the owner(s) of the lot(s), documenting authority to be present on the lot(s) and documenting the extent of permission to harvest any timber or other natural resources, and

    (b)

    Possess on site at all times a certified boundary survey, performed in accordance with Section 61G17-6, F.A.C., pursuant to Section 472.027, Florida Statutes, accurately depicting the property boundaries of the area to be harvested which area boundaries shall be clearly and visibly marked in the field at all times that timber or other natural resources are being harvested. Markers shall be placed in the field along the boundary of the parcels of land to be harvested at intervals of not less than one hundred (100) feet in order to enable enforcement personnel to determine the extent of ownership.
